A market leader in global financial services and next-generation multi-channel trading software systems, are working with GRS to recruit a Payment Operations Specialist to join their rapidly expanding Nicosia operation. The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a payments’ department in the financial industry. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Working directly with a variety of banks, acquirers, and online payments service providers.
2. Being directly involved with the day-to-day management of all processes and procedures related to PSP performance reporting.
3. Assisting with the onboarding of multiple new payment service providers in different countries in accordance with the needs of the Group (including form completion, documents collection and KYC requirements).
4. Assisting the Sales, Customer Support, and Payments Processing team with daily questions related to transactions and rejection reasons.
5. Managing multiple analytical tasks and projects simultaneously.
6. Ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner, complying with all Standard Operation Procedures.
7. Performing a competitors’ research for new PSPs.
8. Creating and maintaining an all-inclusive database related to PSP information, KYC and KYB documents.
9. Supporting the Head of Payments Operations in ad-hoc projects as required.
10. Complying with the Company’s internal processes and procedures.
11. Undertaking any other relevant tasks as assigned by management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
12. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or another related field.
13. At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a payments’ department in the financial industry.
14. Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite.
15. Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
16. Ability to perform data input activities quickly and accurately.
17. Ability to work both autonomously but also as part of a team.
18. Very good organizational and prioritization skills.
19. Able to work in a dynamic environment.
20. Hard working with good interpersonal skills.
21. Work ethic and punctuality.
