The IT Business Analyst is part of the Group IT function and reports hierarchically to the Group IT Manager – Applications. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing IT Applications projects for the headquarters, foreign and Italian branches, aiming to enhance the group's digitalization level and improve integration across various locations.This position offers the opportunity, over time, to take on an increasingly central role in coordinating activities and leading projects, while progressively expanding decision-making scope and strategic contribution.Your responsibilitiesYou will:
Analyze business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization in collaboration with business stakeholderTranslate business requirements into clear and comprehensive technical specifications for IT teams and external partnersPropose standard and innovative solutions to enhance business processesManage new implementation projects with the support of external consultants: from the definition of the scope to the execution of all the project phases, including tests, to ensure project objectives are met in terms of quality, timing, and costsCreate and manage project documentation, including company documentation, scope descriptions, functional requirements, and process flowsPerform impact analysis to assess the effects of proposed changes on existing systems and processesProvide first-level support on relevant platforms, involving external suppliers as needed
Your Skills
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projectHave a Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information SystemsKnowledge of enterprise software systems such as ERP, CRM or BI toolsUnderstand principles and practices related to application design, development, and implementationStrong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategicallyHave strong project management skillsHave good communication and listening skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAre proficient in spoken and written English
