Role Description:
The electromechanical maintenance technician performs electrical (including PLC-assisted) and mechanical maintenance operations and interventions. This person will be part of the maintenance team and will be responsible for the routine, extraordinary, and preventative maintenance of industrial systems, with a particular focus on electronics. He will collaborate with the team to ensure the proper functioning of production lines, responding promptly in the event of faults and applying tools for problem definition (5Ws), analysis (Ishikawa or the 5 Whys), and resolution.
Upon completion of the intervention, they will prepare a technical report using the company's maintenance software.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform routine electrical and electromechanical maintenance on industrial systems and machinery
* Participate in extraordinary maintenance activities;
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults, including using PLCs
* Perform troubleshooting and restore production lines to working order
* Perform tests and checks to ensure repaired equipment is functioning properly;
* Collaborates with any external contractors;
* Collaborates with the team to implement improvement solutions
* Compiles technical documentation relating to the work performed
* Ensures compliance with safety regulations
* Analyzes faults with a view to problem resolution and prevention;
* Monitors the management of work on the company's CMMS IT system.
Requirements:
* Technical diploma (preferably electrical, electronic, or mechatronic)
* Previous experience as an electromechanical maintenance technician in industrial settings
* Excellent knowledge of industrial electrical systems
* PLC diagnostics skills (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or equivalent)
* Knowledge and good use of computer packages (Office);
* Good knowledge of English
* Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings
* Strong problem-solving skills and operational autonomy
* Ability to continuously learn and pursue professional growth
* Availability to work shifts and/or on call
* Adherence to and compliance with safety regulations;
* Organizational skills and good time management;
* Ability to analyze and methodically manage problems
* Able to interact at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
