We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Buyer.
This position reports to the Operations Manager and will work in the Dometic Forli Office Location.
Responsibilities
Place orders with vendors as required and negotiate acceptable delivery terms on all assigned items
Work with vendors to adjust delivery dates and expedite items as needed
Track orders for all assigned vendors
Resolve all receiving issues for assigned items
Maintain vendor information accurate and up to date
Identify alternate sources on existing and new products as required
Conduct bi-weekly review of MRP planning report
Work with Product & Strategic Sourcing on new products introductions
Research vendor invoice issues for assigned vendors
Contribute to special projects as needed

Requirements
A suitable background would be solid experience within Purchasing as well as the following qualifications and experiences:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience
2 years of purchasing experience preferable within manufacturing/distribution industry
Experience with negotiating supplier terms
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
Skills, competencies & characteristics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exemplary standards of ethics, integrity, and accountability
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work several projects simultaneously
Creative thinker and excellent problem-solving skill
Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
