Overview
Reporting to the Global Finance Director, the role oversees group accounting activities and their compliance across seven international entities.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate a team of 5 professionals, in Italy, France and Spain, and manage 3rd parties/external providers.
* Oversee accounting and compliance across 7 countries (France, Italy, Spain, Germany, USA, Australia, New Zealand), ensuring full compliance with local tax and statutory requirements.
* Take ownership of general ledger integrity across all group entities, ensuring timely and accurate reviews.
* Supervise accounting and compliance operations directly in France, Italy, USA, and Germany, with progressive extension to Spain, Australia, and New Zealand.
* Coordinate the monthly close process, including submissions to the Group reporting tool and consolidated financial reporting.
* Lead IFRS reporting and manage adjustments to comply with local GAAP standards.
* Manage standard costing and transfer pricing, ensuring financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making.
* Drive internal and external audit processes, focusing on timely resolution of audit issues.
* Act as a key governance partner, responsible for data protection (DPC), anti-bribery compliance (ABC), legal documentation, and policy harmonization across the group.
Requirements
Must have
* Qualified accountant with proven extensive experience in manufacturing multinational companies within the B2B industrial sector;
* Skilled in managing operations across multiple countries simultaneously;
* Experience in a strong control environment and of IFRS. Expertise in Italian GAAP and ways of working;
* Synthetic and straight-to-the-point communication style;
* Leadership and ability to provide guidance to an international team;
* Fluent in English and Italian.
Nice to have
* Experience in ERP implementation (not Key User but involved in the project later).
* Specific degree in Business Administration and Finance, or related fields.
* Standard work tools (mobile, meal vouchers, laptop).

* Senior management capability to coach and develop the team.

Compensation
Retribution proportional to seniority/potential for a manager in a growth phase.
