As a junior engineer, your role will include supporting routine engineering tasks, applying basic engineering principles, and following established methods. Responsibilities include performing specific parts of larger assignments, compiling and verifying data, and assisting in the preparation of designs, studies, and reports. You will also use computer programs as directed, help prepare material requisitions and specifications, and coordinate your tasks with other technical staff. Additionally, you will assist in developing and verifying project control documents and tracking project progress. This role provides a solid foundation in engineering processes and supports your professional growth through hands-on experience in a team environment. WHAT IF IT WAS YOU? We seek a junior engineer with at least one year of experience and a degree in Environmental Engineering, preferably with a focus on renewable energy. You should have a good understanding of relevant regulatory codes, design standards, and layout criteria. Familiarity with constraint analysis, hydrology, geology, and geotechnical aspects is important, as well as experience supporting Environmental Impact Assessments and landscape analysis. Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Office, and preferably BIM is beneficial. This role is suited for someone developing into a consultant or designer, capable of delivering quality work within scope, schedule, and budget. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborate with other technical teams. A strong work ethic, adaptability, and openness to feedback are essential. Demonstrating potential in both technical and soft skills, managing workload effectively, and building a professional network will support your growth. Fluency in Italian and English is required.
