Project Engineer – Esperienza OilGas
Position: Province of Piacenza
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Designer for a multinational leader in industrial automation and technological solutions for the energy, oil gas, and manufacturing sectors. The role is based at the company’s headquarters in the province of Piacenza. The company is characterized by an international, highly structured environment focused on technological innovation and operational excellence.
Role Purpose
The selected candidate will be responsible for the technical management of assigned projects, supporting the implementation of engineering solutions and ensuring coordination among different teams involved.
Main Responsibilities
Define and implement technical solutions in line with client needs and company standards.
Support budgeting and technical specification definition for projects.
Coordinate testing and validation activities of engineering solutions.
Interact with production departments to ensure effective execution of development and manufacturing phases.
Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement in engineering.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations for the industrial sector.
Prepare technical reports and documentation on project progress.
Participate in technical meetings and internal training for continuous updates.
Technical Project Management
Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project activities.
Supervise proper application of technical specifications and standards.
Collaborate with engineering team for technical requirement analysis and solution design.
Team and Stakeholder Coordination
Interface with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project progress.
Coordinate activities among engineering, production, and quality functions.
Participate in technical meetings and support problem-solving efforts.
Quality Control and Documentation Management
Monitor quality and compliance of technical documentation.
Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company standards.
Participate in testing, commissioning, and plant start-up activities.
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical, or equivalent).
At least 3-5 years of experience in technical roles within industrial contexts (Oil Gas, Energy, Industrial Automation).
Knowledge of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes and management of customized projects.
Proficiency in modeling, simulation, and project management software (AutoCAD, SAP, Primavera P6).
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
