Thales Alenia Space Italia S.p.A. CFO:
The candidate reports directly to the Company CEO and manages 85 resources across:
* Accounting, Fiscal, and Reporting
* Finance, Insurance, and Bid Controlling
* Budgetary and Operational Controlling
* Business Controlling
Main Responsibilities:
1. Managing the annual budgeting process, providing quarterly outlooks, and monitoring progress and performance.
2. Preparing cash flow projections.
3. Preparing monthly financial statements compliant with IAS/IFRS.
4. Ensuring compliance with tax duties and managing relationships with tax authorities.
5. Providing financial input to long-term strategic planning.
6. Evaluating financial risks of bids and assessing risks and opportunities during project execution.
7. Managing foreign exchange hedging and insurance coverage related to main contract risks.
8. Ensuring economic and financial factors are considered in all strategic and operational decisions.
9. Guaranteeing the integrity and completeness of data flows for auditors, the Board, and authorities.
Business Line Observation, Exploration & Navigation CFO:
The candidate reports to both TAS CFO and SEVP BLOEN, managing a team of 40 program and bid controllers across Italy and France, overseeing activities related to four Domains (DONI, DESI, DOSF, DNF).
Responsible for the economic and financial performance of the Business Line OEN, with activities across Europe, consolidating results from multiple TAS entities and Thales SESO.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Defining annual economic and financial targets at BLOEN level and monitoring progress, implementing recovery actions as needed.
2. Ensuring effective management of intra-company transactions in line with TAS rules.
3. Reviewing project execution and evaluating risks and opportunities.
4. Focusing on program performance versus legal entity performance.
5. Driving profitability and cash flow improvement initiatives.
6. Supporting the SBP process with financial scenarios and simulations.
7. Preparing monthly financial performance reports and variance analyses.
8. Reporting periodically to senior management on financial performance.
9. Supporting finance transformation and system evolution initiatives.
