Job Title: Site Manager - European Combustion Research Center
Fives Combustion BU is actively seeking a Head of Combustion Research Center for managing its industrial combustion lab based in Piacenza (Italy).

Responsibilities
* Manage the European combustion center and supervise engineers, technicians and workers on site (2 to 4 people); ensure compliance with FECC and all QHSE policies and risk management, including local regulations.
* Mission 1 – Combustion Test Planning and Execution: Plan and conduct combustion tests according to Fives Pillard and Fives ITAS R&D programs, respecting safety procedures, technical specifications and budgets; ensure the reliability of tests through appropriate instrumentation and measurement reliability; manage resources and adapt facilities to the needs of Fives R&D programs.
* Mission 2 – Product Development and Improvement, Technical Support: Use your skills, observations and measurements to participate in product development and propose improvements with associated validation tests; maintain continuous technological watch (materials, digital, instrumentation); provide technical support for commissioning of new products during the “first industry” stage.
* Mission 3 – Combustion Center Management and HSE Management: Provide hierarchical management of the center’s engineers, technicians and workers; ensure compliance with QHSE policies and risk management, including local regulations.
* Work under the supervision of the BU Combustion R&D Director (attached to Fives ITAS).
Qualifications
* 10 years of solid experience in a thermal industrial site or industrial lab, preferably in the combustion field. Experience in burners is an asset.
* Knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and combustion.
* Languages: Italian and English fluent; French is a plus.
* Leadership, autonomy and rigor; technical curiosity and initiative; ability to analyze and communicate with clarity.
