Role Overview
WordLift is scaling its commercial operations across EMEA. We are hiring an Account Executive to drive mid-market growth while supporting selective enterprise opportunities.
This role sits at the intersection of SEO intelligence, AI-driven content infrastructure, and commercial execution. You will own deals end-to-end, engage sophisticated buyers, and translate WordLift’s technical value into measurable business outcomes.
You will work closely with leadership to professionalize and scale the revenue engine.
Core Responsibilities
Revenue & Deal Ownership
* Own the full sales cycle from qualified opportunity to close.
* Drive new business across mid-market clients, with exposure to enterprise accounts.
* Manage pipeline, forecasting, and quota attainment with discipline.
SEO & Market Understanding
* Engage credibly with SEO, content, and digital leaders.
* Demonstrate strong understanding of search ecosystems, AI search evolution, and semantic SEO.
* Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and related platforms to support discovery, diagnosis, and value articulation.
Solution Selling
* Position WordLift as a semantic and AI infrastructure layer, not a feature-based SEO tool.
* Translate technical capabilities into commercial impact (traffic quality, visibility, automation, AI readiness).
* Run structured discovery across technical, marketing, and business stakeholders.
Mid-Market Expansion
* Support the build-out of a scalable mid-market motion across EMEA.
* Adapt messaging and deal structure to different market maturities and buyer sophistication.
* Feed market insight back into sales strategy, packaging, and pricing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with CRO, VP of Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
* Support deal strategy on complex or enterprise-grade opportunities.
* Contribute to improving sales processes, playbooks, and commercial tooling.
Required Profile
Experience
* 4–8+ years in B2B sales, ideally SaaS or data-driven platforms.
* Proven experience selling to SMB, mid-market, and exposure to enterprise clients.
* Background in SEO, digital marketing, martech, or analytics is strongly preferred.
Skills
* Strong commercial instincts and structured deal management.
* Credible knowledge of SEO, content performance, and search analytics.
* Hands-on familiarity with GSC, GA, and related tools.
* Ability to sell complexity clearly and pragmatically.
* Comfortable operating in multi-stakeholder, cross-country environments.
