I am looking for two students to assist with a symposium on art and education with a focus on decolonial pedagogy. It is organized by artist Valerio Rocco Orlando and curator Raffaella Frascarelli, who are establishing a new school of the arts in Matera, Italy.

Position #1: A student to help with general administrative tasks during the week of the event, and overseeing the run of show during the conference on Friday, Oct 7, 9 am – 7 pm
30 hrs
Position #2: A student to document the conference and edit the video
20 hrs

Minimum Qualifications:
proficient in creating promotional material in photoshop and illustrator
organized and proficient in creating spreadsheets and helping run an event
knowledge of resources available near campus
creating promotional materials for the event two weeks in advance
help with organizing catering the week of the event
being present on the day of the event to oversee the run-of-show
Video and Photo Documentarian – 20 hrs ability to use an SLR camera to document the event (this can be checked out from Parsons ERC )
ability to use Adobe Premiere or similar to edit and deliver documentation after the event
proficient with shooting and editing videos of talks and discussions
being present on the day of the event to document it
Providing edited content within two weeks after the event
Ability to adhere to University COVID -19 Policy and requirements.
