Ph3Position Summary /h3 pWe are looking for engineering graduates (Master/Bechelor Degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent) to join our Product Engineering department. /p pWith the role of bProduct Engineer /b, the position will be based at Dana Italia srl, located in bCrescentino (VC) /b. /p pbDirect report to /b: Engineering Manager or Product Leader /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 pHandle all the technical aspects, especially related to design and support, of Drivetrain Components (Driveshaft, Double-U Joint, etc..) across the whole lifecycle: /p ul liConcept development, feasibility study and design analysis of new products; /li liReview and support product design and contribute to the validation activities (definition of test and/or validation programs); /li liAnalyze and support application process and approval; handle prototype, production release and implementation; /li liSupport the process optimization and implementation, with particular focus on analysis and calculation approach finalized to product design; /li liWork in cooperation with other functions, suppliers, plant personnel and others to implement cost reduction, methods, process and product improvements; /li liWork together with other Functions (product verification validation engineers, manufacturing/process engineers, suppliers, purchasing, analysts) to assure the product launch; /li liSupport and Manage, if necessary, written and technical communication (including professional presentations) to customers. /li /ul h3Job Position Requirements /h3 pEducation: Master or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent. /p pProfessional background: Nice to have: 3 - 5 years of professional experience in the bIndustrial sector /b working on the bdevelopment of complex mechanical systems /b: previous experience in design development of powertrain system will be appreciated. /p pHard skills: /p ul liGood knowledge of standard approaches and methods for the design and validation of mechanical components. /li liKnowledge of standard tools used to size mechanical components/systems under different point of view: functional, performance, endurance, etc.. /li liBe familiar with industrial process (stage gate) adopted for the project development, from the feasibility study to product phase-out will be a plus. /li /ul pForeign languages: /p pbEnglish /b, upper intermediate (B2) level as minimum for both spoken and written. Others language will be appreciated. /p pIT skills: /p ul liHigh computer’s skills in Windows OS, Microsoft Office suite and internet. /li liGood knowledge of CAD tools (PTC Creo is preferred) and/or CAE tools.
