If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 pRole purpose /p ul liSupport the definition and evolution Mobile Access Architecture design and engineering in accordance with the Architecture Blueprint. /li liResponsible for the access design of Access Network and related interconnections with the Core Network. /li liDesign of RAN Access network, with special focus on logical connectivity, security and synchronisation of the RAN base stations. /li liManagement of technical acceptance of the Radio HW and SW, with special focus on RAN transport and transmission capabilities. /li liDefinition of the RAN KPIs and of the related performance targets /li liAnalysis and troubleshooting of the Mobile Access performance issues and design of the related improvement guidelines, with special focus on interworking with transport and core network. /li liSupport definition of Access network HLD/LLD for specific MPN solutions. /li liKey accountabilities and decision ownership /li /ul ul liProvide high level design (HLD) of the Access Networks. /li liDefine the reference RAN configurations with special focus on RAN transport capabilities and SW functionalities. HLD/LLD /li liSupport process definition for the delivery of customised solution in collaboration with VBPS and ND /li liDefine MPN specific Radio Transport configurations for the Vodafone RAN suppliers /li liDefine the optimal design and parameterisation to maximise access network performance, in collaboration with ND and Transport teams. /li liManage technical acceptance and life cycle of the RAN configuration and related SW functionalities, including the correct interworking with MPN/market specific core/TX design /li /ul h3Who you are /h3 pCore competencies, knowledge and experience /p ul liKnowledge of radio access technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) /li liDeep knowledge of networking techniques, with main reference to IP /li liDeep knowledge of synchronisation technologies and transport security (IPSec, Macsec). /li liKnowledge of radio equipment and sw functionalities and parameter /li liKnowledge of 3GPP protocols /li liManagement of complex customised solutions /li /ul pMust have technical / professional qualifications /p ul liGood awareness of wider technology aspects in telecommunications and ICT /li liDeep IP networking expertise /li liVery good knowledge of 3GPP Radio Protocols and mobility procedure /li liInter-functional relationships /li liAbility to meet the deadline and project definitions, supported by good decision making skills /li /ul h3Not a perfect fit? /h3 pWorried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
