The Opportunity
The company is strengthening its construction team in Italy and is hiring a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of utility-scale solar projects across the Lazio region.
Key Responsibilities
- Study project scope, engineering drawings, BOM, purchase orders and subcontract packages
- Report daily and weekly progress to the Project Manager
- Supervise subcontractor installation activities with support from site engineers
- Track and report all materials received onsite
- Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics to secure timely deliveries
- Ensure compliance with company technical standards, local norms, and project requirements
- Manage site facilities including offices, utilities (water, electricity, internet), cleaning and local supplier contracts
- Act as the site’s safety representative (“preposto alla sicurezza”)
- Interface with DL and CSE where required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of site management experience in construction (solar/BESS/EPC preferred)
- Engineering degree (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) is an advantage
- Strong command of MS Office and AutoCAD
- Able to lead, coordinate, negotiate and manage subcontractors
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Willing to be based in Piedmont
- Fluent Italian and English
