Recently, Leroy Merlin launched its Marketplace, an ambitious plan to transform the business and become the world's leading habitat platform. The Marketplace will expand product and service offerings, enhance customer experience, strengthen market positioning, and generate revenue.
In this context, the Marketplace team seeks a Business Analyst to support its growth. You will join Carolina Donà, Senior Project Manager in LMI teams (Leroy Merlin Italy).
The position is based at our headquarters in Milan.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for:
1. Helping design the Marketplace business strategy related to performance, operations, commercial, product selection, and finance.
2. Uncovering business insights to advance the Marketplace.
3. Influencing and challenging stakeholders through data insights.
4. Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to build scalable and accurate solutions.
5. Leading governance rituals to facilitate and impact Marketplace performance.
6. Acting as a data ambassador to promote a Data-Driven culture within Adeo.
7. Building and working on a PMO transformation project to help the Marketplace reach its objectives and track progress.
Basic Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
2. Highly organized and results-oriented with a high degree of ownership.
3. Strong interpersonal and relational skills.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Minimum of 3 years of experience as Business Analyst or similar in consulting, e-commerce, FMCG, or retail.
6. Proficiency in G-suite or Microsoft Office.
7. Proficiency in SQL.
Preferred Qualifications :
1. Knowledge of other European languages (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or German) is a plus.
2. Proficiency in data visualization tools (Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau) or Python is a plus.
3. Familiarity with the company's technology stack (BigQuery, Looker, Google Cloud).
