Role Overview
An experienced Management Accountant is sought to join the finance team in Italy. This role is critical in ensuring financial control, reporting accuracy, and strategic decision-making support. The ideal candidate will have experience in the energy sector and be adept at financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and performance metrics.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency and business performance.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide financial insights for decision-making.
* Monitor and control costs to optimize financial performance.
* Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with company objectives.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred).
* 3-5 years of experience in management accounting, preferably in the energy or renewable sector.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
* Knowledge of Italian accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
* Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
