WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
For our Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are looking for a passionate we are looking for a highly motivated Junior Buyer to join our dynamic Purchasing Department. The role offers the opportunity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
* Conduct supplier scouting and market research to identify potential partners and opportunities.
* Manage orders in accordance with established purchasing procedures.
* Draft and review contracts in conjunction with internal teams.
* Monitor and ensure progress of projects within area of responsibility.
* Work closely with the Legal Department to support the drafting of contracts for tenders and services.
* Prepare detailed analysis and presentations to support decision making.
* Provide regular reports to management on purchasing activities and project status.
Required Qualifications :
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Desired :
* Master's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering.
* Previous experience in a modern industrial environment, even at entry level.
* Basic knowledge of project management and / or purchasing functions.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Familiarity with integrated management systems (SAP).
