We're looking for a Freelance Senior Machine Engineer to become the technical reference for new industrial plant projects, with a strong focus on safety, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
You will play a key role in ensuring full compliance with EU Regulation 2023/1230, guaranteeing safe, reliable, and maintainable industrial assets while working closely with Engineering, Maintenance, HSE, and suppliers.
What You'll Do
* Lead compliance activities for EU Regulation 2023/1230 and CE marking
* Support design, construction, and commissioning of new plants
* Coordinate risk assessments, functional safety, and cybersecurity topics
* Validate technical files, documentation, and Declarations of Conformity
* Define maintenance strategies for new assets
* Support audits and interactions with certification bodies
* Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams
What We're Looking For
* Strong experience with Machinery Directive / EU Regulation 2023/1230
* Solid background in industrial plants and complex production environments
* Ability to coordinate technical activities and multiple stakeholders
* Strong focus on safety, compliance, and reliability
Nice to Have: Functional safety experience, cybersecurity knowledge, CE marking familiarity. xjrgpwk
