We are looking for an Avionics Engineer - IVVQ. /p pThe job holder will be in charge of the different phases of Avionics testing: Integration, Verification and Validation/Qualification of Satellite Avionics (Data Handling, Attitude and Orbit Control, and Failure Detection Isolation and Recovery). The role includes developing simulation models for Satellite Real Time Environment (RTE) based on C/C++ compliant with ESA ECSS SMP standard. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liReal/No‑Real Time test environment for Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Testing /li liReal Time Environment (RTE) Simulation modeling based on C/C++ compliant with ECSS SMP standard /li liMatlab/Simulink programming /li liSupport to hardware unit specification and technical management of related procurement /li liStudy and understand the design provided by AOCS/DHC Design Authority to develop a verification and testing approach /li liDevelop and write test sequences for AOCS, DHC, and FDIR aspects /li liAvionics VV activity at Avionic Test Bench (ATB) level /li /ul h3Location Working Conditions /h3 pThe working site is Rome, but other locations may be required for short mid‑term periods. Short periods of 24‑hour shift working across the full week may be required upon specific program needs. /p h3Education and Experience /h3 pYou have a Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer/Control Engineering, with an explicit focus on programming, Hardware In the Loop Testing and Control Systems Engineering. /p pYou are fluent in English (C1 and above certification) both listening and reading.
