Purpose of the Position
The initial challenge will include enhancing ERP Infor M3 performance and ensuring integration of newly acquired companies. The Credit Manager also ensures all debts are collected on time and proactively coordinates with customers, sales, and finance teams to minimize credit risks. Additionally, will supervise, manage, and motivate the AR team.
Main Activities / Responsibilities
1. Design credit risk policies and procedures.
2. Actively contribute to Infor M3 implementation.
3. Enable ERP and process integration for new clients.
4. Monitor and support generation and issuing of customer invoices and credit notes.
5. Handle and respond to customer queries regarding account statements, invoices, credit notes, etc.
6. Manage payment reminders.
7. Support team in AR customer account reconciliations.
8. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end AR closure.
9. Ensure proper bad debt provisions are in place at month-end.
10. Support general accounting activities related to AR.
11. Monitor and release orders from credit hold according to company policy and prepare risk and past due analysis for management approval.
12. Ensure timely collection and insurance claim activities.
13. Support customer risk management by working with credit insurances.
14. Maintain third-party credit tools.
15. Prepare and share DSO calculations and analysis reports with Finance.
16. Work closely with Sales and customers to resolve outstanding items.
17. Provide data for weekly/monthly cash flow forecasting.
18. Oversee AR Coordinators' responsibilities.
19. Ensure timely execution of scheduled activities.
20. Develop and deploy strategies to improve working capital, focusing on accelerated receivable collection.
21. Handle special projects and ad hoc reports, along with office administration tasks.
22. Perform other related finance duties as assigned.
23. Administer staff purchases and invoicing.
Professional and Personal Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional Skills
Proven experience in accounts receivable management or similar roles. Strong knowledge of AR principles, credit management, and collections. Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems; experience with ERP implementation (SAP or similar) is highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
Language Skills
Fluent written and spoken English mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, High Radius, M3, DOCFINANCE (preferred).
