Responsibilities
Participate in the development, optimization, and implementation of warehouse safety management processes and SOPs.
Conduct daily safety inspections of warehouse facilities, including fire protection systems, electrical equipment, and machinery.
Monitor cargo storage, stacking, and handling operations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Verify the proper implementation of safety measures, including PPE usage, safety signage, and clear access routes.
Supervise and correct unsafe operational behaviors.
Manage personnel and cargo access control procedures.
Support safety training activities and promote safety awareness across the warehouse.
Assist in emergency response planning, incident investigation, and safety reporting.
Requirements
Fluent English and Italian, Chinese is a strong plus.
1–2 years of experience in safety management, warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, or related sectors.
Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and risk awareness.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Safety, fire protection, or emergency response certifications are preferred.
Degree or educational background in Safety Engineering, Logistics Management, Warehouse Management, Fire Protection Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
Initial fixed-term contract of 12 months with meal tickets.
Gross annual salary starting from €28,000.
13th and 14th salary payments included, according to the applicable collective labor agreement CCNL Merci Trasporti e Logistica.
