Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.Using prescribed methods, a Structural Designer performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. A Structural Designer applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Structural calculations as directedPlan layout and detail development as directedDevelop working knowledge of analysis and plan production software (AutoCAD/Revit)Approval drawing reviewVery limited client communication as directedGradual evolution to the design and drawing assembly for complete buildings of moderate scale

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$100,000 annually.
