ROLE PURPOSE
Production Planners develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met. They determine material, equipment, and labor requirements, prepare status and performance reports, and resolve production issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Evaluate purchase orders to create suitable production schedules.
* Estimate the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.
* Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize delays.
* Coordinate production operations considering material, labor, and equipment availability.
* Recommend solutions to reduce costs and improve processes and product quality.
* Adjust production schedules to meet deadlines.
* Compile and submit status and performance reports to management on time.
* Inform relevant departments about changes to production schedules.
* Manage complex projects involving multiple departments (technical, quality, production, sales, logistics, warehouse).
* Define stock policies for packages warehouses and manage stock levels to meet market demands.
* Procure package-specific components.
* Prioritize planning of other made-in items with colleagues to ensure timely availability of goods.
* Continuously improve the packages planning process.
SKILLS
* Proficient in English (B2 level).
EDUCATION
Technical High School Diploma or higher.
PERSONAL SKILLS
* Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Proactive attitude and problem-solving abilities.
* Teamwork orientation.
* Open to change.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or related fields.
