Your opportunity
We are currently seeking for an Accounting and Credit Senior Project Manager for our Finance team based in our HQ, Padua.
How you will contribute
Develop and oversee finance and accounting integration projects being accountable for making suitable plans, technology improvements, and handling finance-related activities
Perform several duties during the project lifecycle, including:
Data gathering and analysis
Cash flow monitoring and reporting
Tax compliance
Working with staff members in Finance departments to complete projects according to business needs and internal and external deadlines
Being responsible and accountable for delivering projects on-time, and meeting functional and quality specifications
Facilitate meetings to address open questions or drive to consensus
Participate in overall Project Management process providing finance advise and tutoring to the project team
Ensure Project compliance with international accounting standards and regulations across all international locations
Coordinate with international finance teams to streamline accounting processes and facilitate efficient cross-border financial operations
Provide guidance and support to international finance teams regarding complex accounting issues, financial transactions, and regulatory changes
Conduct regular reviews of international financial systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
Stay updated with international accounting standards and regulatory changes to ensure the organization's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
At least 5/7 years extensive experience in international accounting, preferably in a managerial role, overseeing global accounting operations
An auditing and/or project operational background would be an advantage
Excellent balance of financial expertise and organization skills, as well as ability to set schedules and drive team member performance
In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP, as well as familiarity with international tax regulations
Strong understanding of cross-border financial transactions, foreign currency transactions, and international transfer pricing
Proficiency in utilizing international accounting software and SAP systems; experience with global financial reporting systems is a plus
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic international business environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Proficiency in English
