What is the job about?
At Stevanato Group (SG), we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Corporate Buyer to join our Procurement team. The Corporate Buyer will directly manage and globally coordinate some Indirect Procurement Categories with a special focus on sourcing IT Goods & Services (i.e. software, hardware, IT services, consultancies, telecommunications), reporting to the Procurement Manager at our HQ in Piombino Dese (Padova).
Your key accountabilities
* Directly manage the assigned IT procurement categories, in accordance with SG’s targets and guidelines in terms of cost, time, quality and sustainability.
* Plan, direct and manage procurement activities (including sourcing strategy, request for quotation, bid review, supplier negotiation & awarding) to get the results delivered.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on sourcing options and best practices.
* Manage suppliers’ relationships, including regular performance evaluations, contract renewals, and claims resolution.
* Conduct global suppliers’ scouting activities, according to SG’s guidelines.
* Analyze and negotiate IT suppliers’ contracts.
* Be part of improvement projects, bringing fresh ideas to enhance SG’s procurement background.
Your background
* A technical education: degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Business Economics .
* 5 years of experience in a similar role in a well-structured engineering or manufacturing company.
* Fluent in Italian and English. Strong communication skills : excellent negotiating and influencing skills.
* A team player attitude: good at building positive relationships with internal and external peers.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office package.
* A proven record in IT supplier management and negotiation is a must.
