Offshore CO₂ Recovery Modules Role Overview We are seeking an experienced
Hook-Up Manager
to lead and coordinate all offshore hook-up and commissioning activities for the Liverpool Bay Project. This role is critical to the successful planning, execution, and safe delivery of offshore construction, fabrication, and commissioning works across both onshore and offshore phases. The Hook-Up Manager will be responsible for ensuring offshore execution is delivered in line with project schedules, quality standards, and HSSE requirements, while continuously optimizing offshore efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities The role involves leading all offshore hook-up and commissioning activities, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will plan, coordinate, and execute offshore campaigns covering Greenfield, Brownfield, and modification activities, maintaining strong alignment between Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Offshore Execution teams. You will oversee offshore mobilization readiness, including personnel, materials, logistics, work packs, and safety preparations, ensuring all offshore activities are fully prepared prior to execution. The position requires providing strong technical and operational leadership for topside installation, tie-ins, and commissioning activities, while supervising offshore construction, installation, and commissioning across piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems. Close coordination with fabrication yards, installation vessels, commissioning teams, marine operations, QA/QC, HSE, and operations teams will be essential to ensure seamless execution and effective system completion and handover. HSE, Quality & Compliance You will be responsible for enforcing project HSE policies, risk assessments, and offshore Permit to Work systems to maintain a safe working environment. The role includes implementing and maintaining project quality standards through inspections, audits, and verification activities, while ensuring full compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, and offshore safety legislation. Project Phases Phase 1
focuses on onshore construction and preparation of offshore CO₂ recovery modules in Piombino, Italy (approximately 1 year). Phase 2
covers offshore hook-up and commissioning activities in the UK North Sea (approximately 1 year). Ideal Background
(optional for posting) The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in offshore hook-up and commissioning within Oil & Gas, CCS, or offshore energy projects, with proven leadership in complex Greenfield and Brownfield offshore environments and strong knowledge of HSSE regulations and offshore construction practices.
