As Platform Lead Engineer for AGCO’s Combines development, you steer global platform initiatives from the Breganze site and across headers sites. You lead a technical team and cross‑functional partners to deliver new features, optimize costs, and advance the strategic product roadmap. You solve complex problems, influence multi‑site plans, and drive NPI delivery within AMPIP processes. This role offers meaningful impact on sustainable farming through engineering leadership and innovation.

* Lead and coordinate platform development activities across modules
* Drive module‑specific innovation and cost optimization with Purchasing and Manufacturing
* Deliver NPI projects meeting defined Quality targets and maintain products
* Plan projects per AMPIP procedures and collaborate with other AGCO sites
* Define project objectives and manage requirements, solving complex problems
* Monitor development budgets and time schedules; track product cost targets
* Lead planning meetings, design reviews, and future optimization discussions
* Manage cross‑functional collaboration and interface with manufacturing, quality, and purchasing
* Maintain strong leadership and team coordination in a matrix organization
* Travel up to 25% as required
Responsabilità
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
* +5 years of professional experience
* Excellent English language and writing ability
* Excellent leadership and people skills
* Proficiency in Creo and MS Office Suite
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP, BAAN, JDE)
* Strong project management capabilities
* Ability to work in cross‑functional, matrix environments
* Travel readiness 25%
