If you want to grow your career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance, Vodafone offers opportunities to belong and make a real impact. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 pbRole purpose: /b /p ul liSupport 2nd Line Operations for OSS tools in a multi-vendor environment. /li liResponsible for preventive and corrective troubleshooting, ensuring service quality and continuity for OSS applications. /li liCollaborate with Engineering and 1st Line Operations to develop procedures for alarm analysis and fault elimination. /li liAssist with data configuration, software rollout, and integration activities. /li /ul h3Key accountabilities and decision ownership /h3 ul liAdminister provisioning and monitoring platforms, plus critical OSS applications. /li liTroubleshoot faults and implement corrective actions, engaging with 3rd party support as needed. /li liPerform daily monitoring and health checks; contribute to incident detection and system optimization. /li liParticipate in projects, process improvements, and configuration verification. /li liInteract with technical staff, NOC engineers, and other Service Delivery teams. Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes (INM, PRM, SRM). /li liConfident handling of ticket systems and auto-routing. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pbCore competencies, knowledge and experience: /b /p ul liAbility to create technical instructions/procedures and provide 2nd level support for OSS applications. /li liKnowledge of Linux OS, application/database administration, and telecom protocols. /li liSupport service request fulfillment and system/software rollouts. /li liExposure to virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/ESX, Microsoft Azure). /li liTeamwork orientation; proficient English (spoken/written). /li liApplying ITIL-aligned operational practices including role/access management, adherence to security, change, and release standards, and maintaining accurate documentation (KEDB, inventories, operational guides, and workarounds) to ensure compliance, continuity, and controlled service operations. /li liEnsuring effective service delivery through proactive monitoring and reporting, clear communication with stakeholders and partners, and coordinated escalation processes to maintain SLA performance and quickly resolve incidents. /li /ul h3Must have technical / professional qualifications /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science. /li liMinimum 1 year experience in server/application operations and maintenance. /li liMinimum 1 year experience with Linux OS and database operations. /li liWillingness to learn programming/scripting languages (experience is a plus). /li /ul h3Not a perfect fit? /h3 pWorried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
