FREELANCE DATA ENGINEER – DATABRICKS & AZURE – ENGLISH SPEAKING
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer for an exciting freelance opportunity with a leading global IT services and consulting company, known for delivering innovative technology solutions across multiple industries.
Location: Italy (remote within Italy)
Rate: €400/day
Contract: 6–12 months with strong possibility of extension
What You'll Do:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure.
* Implement and optimise solutions using Databricks.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
* Support data modelling, integration, and performance tuning.
What We're Looking For:
* At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering on Azure and Databricks.
* English-speaking (Italian is beneficial).
* Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and cloud architecture.
* Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
