Overview
We are hiring for an operational role in Toscana Energia, a leading gas distribution company in Tuscany. The position involves support for network maintenance, field operations, and customer communication.
Responsibilities
Participate in emergency interventions: locate and repair gas leaks on both underground and overhead pipelines, following company procedures and using advanced instrumentation.
Insert and register data from various sources (users, devices, iPad records), perform logical or arithmetic processing, and update the database.
Conduct tests for activation/re-activation of Delivery Points (PdR).
Issue customer alerts for meter changes, scheduled works that require gas shutdowns, and other service notifications.
Assist in the connection and replacement of street pipelines or underground connections.
Support the connection of new methane reduction plants.
Support the deployment, activation, removal, and replacement of meters.
Control and monitor material usage and recovery from the warehouse for field works.
Verify meters and installations, ensuring safety and reporting any anomalies.
Assist in locating gas dispersion on pipelines using Picarro technology.
Technical Requirements
1–3 years of experience in an electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, hydraulic, or maintenance role; industrial or related sectors preferred.
Technical diploma, preferably in mechanics, mechatronics, electrical, electrotechnics, or construction/environment.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Familiarity with electronic devices (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
Class B driving licence.
Availability for on-call duties up to 10 days per month, 24/7.
Availability for occasional night work.

Compensation and Benefits
Permanent contract at level 2–3 of the CCNL Gas Acqua, classified as operative worker. Annual gross salary (RAL) ranges from €27,900 to €30,900, paid over 14 monthly instalments, adjusted for experience and skills. Options for apprenticeship contracts for junior candidates are available.
