We're Hiring | Cluster Finance ControllerAn exceptional career opportunity for a senior hospitality finance leader to join two ultra-luxury resort hotels in Sardinia in a cluster leadership role.We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Cluster Finance Controller to lead financial operations, controls, and business performance across two flagship luxury properties.
Responsibilities
Financial Control
Overseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expenses
Implementing and reviewing financial policies
Audit compliance, including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholders
Financial Reporting
Production of monthly financial reporting under GAAP
Overseeing budgeting & forecasting process and long‑term planning
Monthly and annual reporting
Financial Performance
Monitoring budgets and reporting major deviations of over‑expenditure, under‑budgeting or non‑compliance to the approved budget
Business partnering with two General Managers to implement controls, solutions, and action plans
Assisting the General Managers in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operations
Advising and providing counsel to the General Managers, HODs and finance teams on all financial matters
Treasury & Tax
Treasury management and cash planning, reviewing the cash position to optimise use of funds and minimise cash held in the business
Reviewing all changes to tax laws and accounting policies, assessing their implications and ensuring the finance team implements appropriate changes
Other
Supporting the financial function of any opening of new products
Assisting with accounting related to any hotel or other asset sales, product closures and ownership changes
Managing relations with third parties, owners and/or partners together with the General Managers
Facilitating the best communication xlwpduy and reporting between the Belmond regional office in Milan and the Cheval Blanc corporate offices in Paris
Communicating relevant information to the Divisional Financial Controllers and the General Managers
Requirements
Proven experience as Director of Finance / Financial Controller in luxury or ultra‑luxury hotels or resorts
Strong cluster / multi‑property exposure preferred
Solid leadership skills with commercial mindset and hands‑on approach
Fluent in English and Italian
