EMEA Financial Controller (Fixed-term contract)Moleskine is looking for an EMEA Financial Controller to join our team on a fixed-term contract, based in our headquarters in Milan.In this role, you will play a key part in driving financial performance across the EMEA region. You’ll be responsible for overseeing controlling activities, ensuring accurate P&L; management, and delivering insightful analysis to support strategic and operational decisions. Acting as a trusted business partner, you will work closely with commercial and leadership teams.
Your main responsibilitiesOwn and analyze the EMEA P&L;, including variance analysis vs budget and forecastLead and coordinate Budget and Forecast processes (BGT & Rolling Forecast)Monitor sales performance, margins, and cost structure, identifying risks and opportunitiesDevelop ad hoc financial reports and KPIs for both management and HQPartner with commercial teams to support business initiatives and strategic decisionsSupervise and develop a junior controlling resourceSupport management with financial evaluations, scenario analysis, and business cases
What we are looking for1-3 years of experience in Controlling or Finance rolesDegree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or similarBackground in Financial Controlling, Business Controlling, or FP&A; within structured organizationsAdvanced Excel skills;
familiarity with ERP systems and BI/reporting toolsStrong analytical mindset and business orientationAbility to work autonomously and communicate effectively with senior stakeholdersProactive attitude and a collaborative, solution-driven approach
