PRODUCT DESIGNER Patricia Urquiola Studio is looking for a Product Designer
to join our Product Design team in Milan. We are looking for a designer with solid experience in the development of
physical products, ideally within
furniture, lighting, accessories, homeware, or high-end design objects .

is an interdisciplinary design practice based in Milan, working across architecture, product, interiors, and art direction for international clients, with a strong focus on material exploration, innovation, and contemporary design culture.
What you’ll do As part of our Product
Design team, you will contribute to the design and development of high-end physical products, including furniture, upholstered furniture, accessories, lighting, homeware, and related product typologies. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting visual, material, and product
research, exploring design references, trends, production techniques, and material innovation. ·
Developing product
concepts
through sketches, moodboards, AI tools, 3D models, physical references, and presentations. ·
Creating 3D models, renderings, and presentation
visuals
using Rhino, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, and relevant AI-based tools. ·
Collaborating
with our clients, the internal team, artisans, manufacturers, and suppliers to develop, review, and refine prototypes toward production.
What We’re Looking For ·
3+ years of experience
in product design and development, ideally in furniture, upholstered furniture, lighting, and high-end physical products. ·
Strong proficiency in Rhino, KeyShot, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with AI tools for research, concept development, visualization, or workflow support is considered a plus. ·
Good awareness of
contemporary design, product culture, and material innovation. ·
A balance of
creativity
and
technical
knowledge, with a strong understanding of materials and production processes. ·
Experience working directly with manufacturers and suppliers is considered a strong plus. ·
A proactive and resourceful designer, skilled at identifying challenges early and proposing creative, technically sound solutions. ·
Fluency in
English
is required;
Italian
is highly appreciated.
