Role Summary
Join a development team delivering custom software for world-leading suppliers of logistics automation systems. Build and maintain .NET-based applications with SQL Server backends, support project delivery from design through commissioning on customer sites, and collaborate with systems engineers to turn requirements into robust, field-proven solutions.

What You will do:
- Design, implement, and maintain full stack software for warehouse and intralogistics automation using .NET technologies and SQL Server.
- Develop and integrate backend services, APIs, user interfaces, and data access layers that operate reliably in industrial environments.
- Work with Systems, PLC teams to define clear interfaces and ensure end-to-end system behaviour.
- Participate in software lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, architecture reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Prepare and execute software installation, configuration, and validation during on-site commissioning activities at customer facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues during integration and live operation, providing fast, decisive support during site acceptance tests.
- Document designs, test plans, and operational procedures to support handover to customers and service teams.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to process and tool improvements within the development team.
What we think you should have:
- Experience developing applications in the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET) (2+ preferred).
- Proficient with SQL Server: schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning, and backups.
- Enough English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability and willingness to travel for on-site commissioning and customer acceptance tests. (3 to 6 non-consecutive months/year)
..and we prefer if you have:
- Practical experience integrating software with industrial systems or real-time data sources.
- Comfortable with source control workflows (Git), CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and automated testing practices.
- Experience in logistics, warehouse management systems, or material handling solutions.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, or other middleware used for industrial data exchange.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
