Job Profile Summary:
This position sits within the Equinix Global Design and Construction team, which delivers over 70 projects globally per year with an annual capex of over $4 billion.
Responsible for planning and coordinating the commissioning of large-scale greenfield and retrofit data centers.
Responsibilities:
* Commissioning Management: Create and implement multi-facility commissioning plans, liaise with construction managers, maintain logs, and assist in developing test procedures.
* Customer Interface: Issue reports, present progress to key customers, and act as a point of contact for escalations.
* Process Management: Follow and improve commissioning processes, develop schedules based on customer requirements.
* Reporting: Manage progress reports, collate data, and provide analytics.
* Vendor Management: Conduct reviews, produce RFPs, manage external resources, and evaluate vendor KPIs.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in data center commissioning preferred.
* Leadership experience in mission-critical environments preferred.
* Fluent in technical and conversational English.
