/p h3Position /h3 pWe are currently looking for a skilled bTechnical Product Developer – Protections /b to join our Protections Department, taking on a pivotal role in our Product Development process.
/p pThis is a great opportunity for a dynamic, experienced, and technical Product Developer to work across several product categories, building on your skills and experience within a leading motorsports brand.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liYou will be responsible for managing the development process of protectors end-to-end, from design to production kick-off phase, making sure to keep the process on schedule.
/li liWorking cross-functionally, you will select new materials with the Designers, coordinating and maintaining material specifications so that they meet any needed both quality and performance standards.
/li liLiaising closely with our suppliers, you will be communicating with them with regards to garment amendments as well as on 3D CAD modifications.
/li liYou will also be in charge of product costing and related tooling costing through technical documentation such as BOMs, making sure not to exceed from the set target.
/li liYou will maintain the Tech Chart and related technical information up to date.
/li liYou will ensure that garment fit as well as performance standards are respected, managing defect elimination during the prototyping phase and notifying any needed changes to our suppliers.
/li liWorking closely with our Testing Team, you will ensure that our products exceed set quality requirements.
/li liYou will also manage 3D CAD files, so to carry out feasibility analysis using either Catia and / or Rhinoceros.
/li liYou will also be responsible for Production kick-off.
/li /ul h3Skills Qualifications /h3 ul liA minimum of 5+ years' experience in technical product development within the Sporting Goods industry.
/li liSolid knowledge and previous working experience on CE certified safety devices.
/li liStrong knowledge of technical sportswear and related technical materials such as plastics, thermoplastics, and composites.
/li liKnowledge of MS Office package.
/li liGood knowledge of Adobe Suite, particularly of Illustrator.
/li liGood knowledge of CAD software such as Catia and / or Rhinoceros.
/li liFluency in English.
/li liAvailability to travel.
/li liStrong interpersonal and teamworking skills, as well as a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills will complete the profile.
