Ceme Group is looking for a Demand Planner, reporting director to the Senior Planning & Logistic Manager EMEA
Job Summary
The Demand Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining reliable demand forecasts to ensure optimal service performance and inventory levels. This role supports the end-to-end supply chain by aligning demand signals with supply capabilities and overall business objectives.
* Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on statistical models, market intelligence, and cross-functional inputs
* Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes of deviations
* Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Planning to align demand plans with business objectives
* Support the monthly S&OP process by executing Step 2, providing demand insights and scenario planning
* Perform Demand Sensing and Forecast Consumption activities in alignment with the Customer Service department, evaluating forecast and order deviations
* Management Engineering or similar
* Experience with demand planning software (e.g. SAP IBP or similar)
* Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory planning
* Experience in manufacturing industries is preferred
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
* Ability to work with data-driven insights and manage complexity
