Market Chief of Staff, Europe & Middle East (EME)Join Avanade's Business Operations team, where you'll lead and coordinate complex cyclical business processes, supporting strategic planning and operational excellence. Shape the future with us!The Market Chief of Staff, Europe & Middle East (EME), is a newly established position designed to provide strategic support to the Avanade EME Market. Reporting directly to the EME Market President, this role is an integral member of the Avanade EME Leadership Team.This position is ideal for a dynamic, market-facing leader with a proven track record in driving change and advisory programs for clients. Additionally, the right candidate will have had considerable experience supporting Avanade in internal capacities. The role blends strategic and operational responsibilities, supporting both the EME Market President and the broader EME business organization. The Chief of Staff will help balance priorities between ongoing business‑as‑usual (BAU) activities and major transformation initiatives.The Chief of Staff will collaborate closely with the EME Market President and the EME Chief Operating Officer, working alongside the EME Leadership Team that includes the Sales Lead, Client Solutions Lead, Solutioning & Delivery Lead, Practices Lead, and Corporate Function Leads (HR, Finance, Marketing, Legal).Skills and experiencesBusiness Insights: Understand how Avanade operates as a business to enable successful outcomes.Program and Project Management: Manage and execute project and leadership asks efficiently.Communication Strategy & Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders using approaches that align with stakeholder needs and desired outcomes.Change Management: Use a systematic approach to help people manage the transition or transformation of an organization’s goals, processes and technologies.Stakeholder Management: Build relationships, gain support, and align goals with stakeholders for a collective purpose.Process Innovation: Introduce new or significantly improved methods, techniques, and/or tools that enhance how work is performed within a business.Experience in the relevant business area: Advisory, Delivery Management, Program/Project Management, Business Operations, Chief of Staff, etc.Demonstrated ability to confidently work with senior leaders, build relationships with stakeholders, and effectively influence senior audiences.Demonstrated capability to drive and execute multiple initiatives both independently or with a team, typically with minimal supervision or guidance.Experience collaborating with both internally and externally facing business entities (Sales, Delivery, Marketing, Client-Facing, Finance, Growth & Strategy, Business Operations, etc.).About YouEmotionally mature, humble leaderMaster negotiator and relationship builderAble to see unique skillset in each team memberAct as a brick wall between business and teamGreat communicator of priorities and expectations (clear, concise)Great at soliciting people’s opinions but not afraid to make decisionsWhat You’ll DoSupport the EME President to drive strategic, sustainable growth for the EME Market and its Market Units.Program and Project Manage all EME business initiatives under direction of the EME President and Corporate Functions Leads, working alongside EME Strategic Programs Lead to plan and execute.Provide comprehensive support to the broader EME Leadership Team, especially assisting the Head of Practice and Client Solutions Lead with strategic growth initiatives.Drive change management and communication cross‑functionally and cross‑geography. This includes development and execution of the change strategy and communication plan to drive the cultural adoption across the business.Act as a key collaborator to support development of innovative, practical working models to translate corporate growth plans and strategies from Global Functions and Teams (Growth Office, Office of the Chief Technology Officer, Solutioning & Delivery, Client Solutions, etc.) into actionable and successful market activation models for the EME Market and its Market Units.We work hard to provide an inclusive, diverse culture with a deep sense of belonging for all our employees.
