Senior Laboratory Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Manager to lead our Investigation Laboratory team in Trieste, Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high quality technical services, achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction, and motivating a highly performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate resources and task assignment, defining priorities within the list of investigation requests.
* Guarantee safety requirements of Laboratory operations, complying with related legislation.
* Directly follow up major failures in the fields, serving the Customer as project leader.
* Report to management deliveries, KPI status, major technical issues, and solved investigation cases.
* Monitor new products reliability when assessing field-tested parts.
* Collaborate with FS&WS to reduce reworks, with R&D to provide first-hand feedback, with Supply Management to safeguard quality specifications.
* Keep laboratory equipment at the best standard and work area clean and organized.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials analysis methodologies and excellent mechanical understanding, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex problems. They will also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve results.

* Earlier 5 years of experience in an analytical technical department.
* MSc Engineering degree and metallurgy knowledge.
This role requires approximately 10% travel to meet with customers and external party laboratories around the world.
