We are looking for a payroll specialist who wants to take on a complex role, elevate payroll experience, and help build our rapidly growing company. We are driven to improve processes and seek better solutions every day.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Gathering and validating data from HR, HR Services, Compensation & Benefits, Stock, and Global Mobility teams for payroll calculations.
2. Performing payroll controls and analyses, including comparing input data with output data.
3. Collaborating with the HR Services team on employee payslip queries, legislative updates, and country-specific issues.
4. Executing post-payroll activities, such as reporting to local authorities and finance teams.

**Compensation and Benefits:**
Base pay starts from EUR 1,750+ gross per month, with salary depending on skills and requirements. Additional components may include a sign-on bonus and eligibility for a restricted stock unit scheme operated by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Previous experience in Payroll/HR
* Fluent English
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
* Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience working in payroll or closely with payroll departments
* Knowledge of personal income tax legislation and labor law
* Familiarity with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP
* Experience with process transitions
* Knowledge of any other European language
