Senior Application Technologist (Beverages) for the Middle East. A Senior Application Technologist with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, and a key member of our Regional Taste & Wellbeing Creation and Application team leading the Beverages category and supporting our Customers in the Middle East region, while being based in Dubai. The Taste & Wellbeing Creation and Application (T&WCA) organisation within Givaudan focuses on discovering and developing new ingredients and flavours for Beverages, Sweet Goods & Dairy, Snacks, Bakery, Savoury, Natural, and other categories. It is a global organisation of multidisciplinary experts from science, creation, application, and sensory science.
Application Technologists support Customers by providing suitable flavours for their applications and guiding Flavourists in the flavour development process. They analyze current and forecast future flavour trends and assess consumer preferences to apply flavours to end applications. Based in Dubai, this role focuses on the Beverages category for the Middle East region (GCC, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan).
You will primarily evaluate and apply flavours in beverage applications (carbonated drinks, juice drinks, still drinks) and select optimal flavours for Customer projects in the Middle East. You will demonstrate to Customers the use and benefits of our flavours in Beverage applications and work on internal and Customer briefs, developing proactive ideas to help Customers bring consumer-preferred and differentiating products to market.
Note: Reporting to the Taste & Wellbeing Technical Manager for the Middle East, you will be a key player in the T&WCA team.
