Reporting into the Head of PR for South-Europe, the successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing activity with media and influencers, to drive understanding and excitement around key products, services and values. This role will focus on driving fresh, new ideas and implementing cutting edge PR campaigns to resonate with local audiences, at the same time as broadening relationships with media and influencers on established and emerging platforms. Bring energy, ideas and an appetite for fresh storytelling and PR ideas to fruition.Help devise and implement locally-driven communications initiatives, as well as adapt and implement global communications initiatives that resonate with the local audience through strategic planning and high standards execution.Leadership of key Italy-relevant PR initiatives, media relations management, local agency work, and prioritizing the most relevant and significant news in a fast‐paced environment and continuous news cycle.Discover, develop and manage lasting relationships and partnerships with social media influencers (YouTube, Instagram, Podcasters, bloggers, etc) in the consumer lifestyle and tech space to help drive impactful momentum activity and feature stories.Work in partnership with teams focusing on products, services and values in Europe to deliver campaigns that increase awareness and understanding of products and how they empower users.Collaborate with other teams and functions to create and deliver activations to increase awareness and understanding, including local services teams, PR, Product Marketing and Marketing Communications teams, worldwide PR teams and other country PR teams.Find new relationships amongst the talent and communities that love and use Apple products and services to deliver the world's most exciting work, and lead our efforts in finding new media and social platforms through which we can tell those stories.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven track record in public relations, journalism, PR agency or corporate settings.Experience in media relations and media contacts in areas such as creative, tech, and culture in Italy.Understanding of local insights and high standards of execution are critical for the role.Excellent written and spoken communications skills in English and Italian.
Preferred Qualifications
Self‐motivated, possess a positive team‐player attitude and passionate about consumer technology.Self‐starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities across consumer and corporate PR.Ability to effectively build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.Capable to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions, in fast paced environments, and able to understand business and policy challenges and formulate effective communications approaches that support the local audience needs and business goals.
