Permanent Placement, division dedicated to the Search and Selection of qualified personnel for direct employment with client companies, is seeking for a company operating in the leather goods sector:
Job Responsibilities:
1. Complete prototyping of belts, including all stages at the bench: cutting and preparing leather, assembly, mounting, sewing, finishing.
2. Full realization of sample repetitions, managing modifications and comments independently after prototype approval.
3. Identifying optimal solutions for the production of components and accessories, and resolving any issues before production.
4. Organizing the prototyping department and its resources (4-6 people).
5. Supervising the entire department's work, ensuring standards and deadlines are met.
6. Serving as the sole reference for technical and construction notes within the section.
7. Acting as the main contact for information exchange with modeling for CAD project development.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Extensive experience as a belt prototyping specialist.
* Autonomous knowledge and use of all machinery involved in belt manufacturing (cutting machine, milling machine, piston machine, edge dyeing, sewing machine, workbench assembly).
* Very good knowledge of materials, techniques, and belt manufacturing processes.
* Problem-solving skills, autonomy in overseeing the entire process.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a team.
* Ability to work under pressure during peak times.
* Highly operational person with good skills and attitude for process and team management.
Employment Details:
* Direct permanent employment with a trial period.
* Classification based on seniority (salary range €24,000 - €30,000).
* Health insurance included.
Work Schedule and Location:
Hours: 08:30 – 17:30 with half an hour break.
Location: Verona Est (VR).
