We are looking for professionals to support two key manufacturing areas: Handling Logistics and Finish Paint. We have vacancies for different levels, from junior engineers to senior engineers who want to advance their careers in a leading renewable energy company. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAs a Tooling Engineer, you will support the design, development, and optimization of tools and equipment used in the manufacturing of wind turbine blades. Focus on delivering safe, efficient, and standardized tooling solutions that support Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost goals. /liliWork closely with international cross-functional teams, suppliers, and factory staff to ensure that all tooling meets technical, operational, and safety requirements. /liliDesign, specify, and optimize tooling for either Handling Logistics or Finish Paint processes. /liliDefine maintenance planning and lifecycle management processes for tools. /liliDefine technical and safety requirements for tools. /liliSupport supplier coordination and tool validation, including TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). /liliContribute to maintenance strategies using EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) systems. /liliSolve tooling-related issues using structured methods (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram). /liliApply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve tool performance, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. /liliSupport standardization projects and share best practices with other Vestas sites. /liliEnsure compliance with safety regulations, CE marking, and internal policies. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. /liliWe are hiring for different seniority levels—from junior engineers to experienced tooling specialists. /liliKnowledge of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. /li /ulh3Competencies /h3ulliSolid understanding of industrial tooling and mechanical systems. /liliAbility to define technical and safety requirements for tools. /liliPractical problem-solving mindset. /liliWilling to work directly on the shop floor. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliAttractive salary + bonus /liliA key engineering role in a high-tech, sustainable manufacturing facility /liliThe opportunity to enhance the efficiency, safety, and quality of production processes /liliCareer growth in a global leader in wind energy /liliA collaborative, diverse, and innovation-driven team /li /ulh3Location /h3pThis position is based at the Vestas blades factory in Taranto, Italy.
