If you are driven, ambitious, and eager to make a significant impact in the space industry, apply now and embark on an extraordinary space journey with us. /ppTasks and Activities /ppThe scope of the work include the following tasks and responsibilities: /pulliSupport to AIV campaigns for the Galileo Ground Control Segment. /liliDefinition of test documentation (including maintenance of the documentation). /liliSupport to the preparation and execution of the Non-Regression / System Validation Test Campaigns. /liliSupport OPS/L1 and L3 teams for problem management, system restoration, vulnerability management and handling of security incidents. /liliProvide inputs to Service Asset and Configuration Management activities, including maintaining the configuration via the provided tools. /liliSupport all milestone reviews related to the L2/L3 maintenance handover. /liliSupport the design of end-to-end integrated maintenance and troubleshooting environments for Galileo systems. /liliProvision of inputs to the release strategy for minor and major evolutions of the GCS infrastructure. /liliProvide Maintenance on-call support as required to support on-site recovery of the Core of Trust (CoT) which may occur outside normal office hours. /li /ulpSkills and Experience /pulliEngineering degree in a relevant technical field with minimum 5 years of experience. /liliExperience in ground system AIV campaigns. /liliExperience in ground system operations. /liliFamiliar with IT systems, like web-based applications and server hardware. /liliKnowledge of Galileo or other navigation ground segment would be a plus. /liliWillingness to strictly follow procedures and creative enough to find workarounds if they fail. /liliAbility to coordinate complex tasks over team boundaries. /liliInterested in new and exciting things, interested in constant learning. /liliWilling and able to travel for trainings and workshops. /liliAn advanced level of English is mandatory, if not yet mastered the willingness to learn at least a basic level of /liliItalian is expected. /li /ulpLegal and Security Requirements /pulliApplicants must be legally allowed to work in the EU and hold a European citizenship.
