Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Project Surveyor plays a key role in overseeing the construction and refit of superyachts, with a focus on inspecting and assessing build quality, compliance, and workmanship throughout all project stages. /ppbr/ppstronguKey Duties and Responsibilities /u /strong /ppbr/pulli Conduct regular on-site inspections of new build and refit projects to verify construction quality, materials, and technical compliance. /lili Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction schedules. /lili Identify deviations or deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly. /lili Liaise with shipyard personnel, subcontractors, and classification society representatives on technical and quality matters. /lili Document inspections and produce detailed technical reports for the Project Manager. /lili Support quality assurance processes and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of construction. /lili Monitor and verify progress in line with project milestones and technical expectations. /liliAttend factory acceptance tests, sea trials, and commissioning activities as required. /li /ulpbr/ppstronguSkills/Requirements /u /strong /ppbr/pulliSolid experience as a marine surveyor, construction inspector, or quality control engineer in the superyacht or shipbuilding industry. /lili Technical degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline preferred. /lili In-depth understanding of shipyard processes, classification requirements, and marine construction standards. /lili Strong technical documentation and reporting skills. /lili Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability. /lili Comfortable working on-site and traveling internationally. /liliTeam player with strong communication skills and the ability to work under the direction of the Project Manager. /li /ul
