PpWithin our Group Head Office - Global Investment Management (GIM) global line, we are looking for a Portfolio Solutions Analytics specialist to join the Investment Solutions Portfolio Analytics team. The Group CIO function is accountable for the investment strategy and performance across all asset classes of approximately € 360bn of general account assets belonging to Generali Group insurance companies located in 60 different countries. The job holder reports to the head of Investment Solutions Portfolio Analytics and will be part of a team that acts as the Investment Management RD center of the Global Investment Management function, interacting with central and local investment team members reporting to the different Local Chief Investment Officers. /ppKey responsibilities of the role will include: /pulliEnhance and maintain the core optimization tool (Group Portfolio Solutions Platform) used for Strategic Asset Allocation, Portfolio Construction, and Tactical Asset Allocation across the Group, strengthening modules for portfolio optimization, asset allocation, KPI KRI assessment, reporting pipelines, and overall system reliability /liliDesign and develop new features to support business needs, such as portfolio benchmarking, drill-down portfolio analytics, performance analysis, stress testing, scenario analysis as well as integration of statistical/machine learning application to investment management activities /liliTranslate investment requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions /liliEvaluate and adopt best-in-class technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns to improve scalability, automation, data quality, and performance. Refactor legacy components when needed /li /ulpWork closely with other teams to ensure smooth development processes, proper system integration, secure deployment, and alignment with Group governance and compliance standards /ph3Requirements /h3pOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: /ppEssential Qualifications Technical Skills: /pulliMaster’s degree in quantitative finance, engineering or other quantitative subjects /liliMinimum 3 years of professional experience as a quant and/or data scientist /liliKnowledge of finance/investments management topics and previous experience in the asset/investment management industry /liliProficiency in Python, including key librarires (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, FastAPI/Flask, etc.) and the ability to build reliable APIs and modular services /liliStrong knowledge of SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL or similar) /liliProficiency in a front-end framework such as Angular or React /liliPractical experience building automation for reporting, data quality checks, or workflow orchestration /liliFamiliarity with vector databases, secure integration in enterprise environment as well as knowledge of Azure or AWS services is a plus /liliBeing CFA and/or CAIA Charterholder or candidate is a plus /liliFluency in English is a prerequisite.
