We are looking for an Avionic System Engineer for our Aerospace & Aviation division, to coordinate the development of avionics equipment for a major customer in the sector.
Main responsibilities:
Capturing, defining, and managing avionics equipment requirements;
Critical review of the HW design of avionics equipment boards;
Developing theoretical/simulation models for performance evaluation and system sizing;
Applying safety-critical and redundancy principles at the avionics system/subsystem level;
Integrating avionics equipment into the final system/subsystem;
Support for SW integration with Avionic Equipment;
Support for supplier management;
Support for system qualification activities.
Essential technical requirements:
Knowledge of System Engineering Processes and Standards;
Knowledge of Doors;
Experience in participating in System developments in the safety-critical avionics sector;
Ability to use standard laboratory equipment.
Optional technical requirements:
Knowledge of the specific features of avionics systems;
Knowledge of model-based design;
Knowledge of communication protocols used in avionics (in particular Ethernet, CAN,ARINC429, MIL-STD-1553);
Knowledge of serial buses such as RS232, RS485, RS422, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC 429, CAN, FireWire 1394.
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related fields.
