As TOV & CBL Senior Systems Engineer you will coordinate programs and be responsible for Systems Engineering activities within the Engineering functional area on TOV, CBL and related integrated solutions, for the entire products life cycle including New Product Development (NPD), NTD, Configuration Management and Sustaining. You will be responsible to fulfill the standard codes and to facilitate the product completeness on configuration platform; will be accountable for Systems related to TR&S and Product safety.
Acting in coordination with the Design Authority, you will guide the overall technical effort, within a matrix organization, in close collaboration with Program Management, Product Leadership, and other functions, driving adoption of Systems Engineering practice. Within the Systems Engineering discipline domain knowledge you will translate concepts, enhance synergies, promote technical commonalities and implement change.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Technical ownership of the programs, being the prime technical interface.
* Support Product Leadership/Sales/BU in understanding the relevant ConOps needs, translating into a system-level preliminary OpsCon needs, into a Business Product Requirement Specification (BPRS); responsible for translating into a System Requirements Specification (SyRS), PBS (Product Breakdown Structure), WBS (Engineering Work Breakdown Structure) and Plan (SEMP).
* Driving and broadcasting the innovative ideas and the alternative architecture generation process through MBSE, leading the down selection in line with the business product strategy, using multiple objective decision analysis (MODA) for decision management.
* Setting organizational goals to meet project and programs schedule milestones, defining and coordinating Engineering resources and activities and monitoring the progress of design throughout the program execution.
* NPD phases covered: conceptual, preliminary, detail design, verification, validation and industrialization (also facilitating product completeness on configuration platform).
* Defining and maintaining product functional architecture, physical architecture, systems interfaces, requirements allocation, and their relevant verification and validation.
* Flowing down product requirements into the System of Interest (SOI) and identifying system and subsystem requirements.
* Ensuring the product development process is followed, including any required technical reviews such as design reviews, risk reviews, manufacturability reviews, supply chain reviews and ensuring the reviews completeness and consistency. Introducing and consolidating the Design Consensus Review process.
* Reporting on program status and risk at regular intervals, perform patents search and new patents filing/submission.
* Ensuring applicable technical regulations are met with design.
* Enhancing synergies and promoting technical commonalities across already existing design variances.
* Coordinating with procurement for the technical content of offers evaluation and suppliers selection, adopting rigorous cost analysis practice.
* Providing timely communications to Executive Management on technical, program, organizational and resource matters.
* Remaining current with Systems Engineering state-of-the-art, promoting adoption and taking active part in company-related initiatives.
* Ensure and inspire compliance with IP protection and HSE culture.
* Supporting new product commercial team during demand to inquiry (DTI) and inquiry to order (ITO) phase.
* Being the main technical interface for Customers for new product and relevant new technology.
* May be requested to lead, on Engineering side, the first project executions.
* Supporting Fleet Issues and Non-Conformities resolution.
* Ensuring corrective actions and design improvements execution, LL from project execution.
* Performing FMEA activities and determining root cause of failures using statistical methods (e.g. Design of Experiment, Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis, A3).
* Optimizing processes associated with the domain technology/information flow.
* Facilitating and participating in workshops, meetings related to various processes and recommend improvement actions. Participating in meetings with the other BUs to receive updates on the current and future opportunities and supporting in analyzing the competition.
* Participating in Audits as per Customers requirements and/or Plant/Product certifications.
* Supporting manufacturing operations on program.
* Support creation of product literature and sales/marketing collateral and tools.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* University master graduation in Mechanical/Aerospace/Energy/Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited University or College.
* At least 10 years of experience in Design and System Engineering domain, preferably in Oil & Gas, Power, or Nuclear segments.
* Demonstrated capability to execute projects or programs and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills, process improvement and project management skills; ability to recognize and solve simple and complex problems in system design.
* Knowledge of planning and analysis tools for project management.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced engineering environment. Experience in optimizing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Experience of Design for Manufacturing, Design of Experiment, Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and Risk Matrix.
* Strong instinct, tireless research, exact attention to detail and innovative spirit.
* Clear thinking attitude with entrepreneur's mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Power BI.
* Executive level presentation skills, strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes for an area or business segment.
* Proven track record to work both independently and in a team environment.
* Be able to work with multi-disciplined cross-functional teams in a global matrix environment
* Proficiency in Italian and English language is mandatory
* Hold an EU passport, availability and documentation to travel to USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
* Experience in industrial valves, triple-offset, C-ball valves is preferred.
* Experience in Lab testing, Verifications, Validations.
* Knowledge of the main standards and codes applicable to metallic and non-metallic valves.
* International recognitions through patents and publications.
* Active member of International Committees and Standards (API, ASME etc.).
* Knowledge of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 and INCOSE SE Handbook and SEBoK.
* Controlled Title Holder.
* INCOSE certification.
* Quality certification.
* IPMA certification.
* Strong mathematical skills and ability to analyze various data sources and translate into information.
* Proficiency in Primavera planning suite.
* Practitioner of LEAN and application of LEAN tools.
* Good technical French, both written and spoken.
