Overview
We are looking for a Data Center Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Data Center Technicians are the primary resolver and troubleshoot and solve a range of data center infrastructure issues including, but not limited to: hardware, fibre, networking, and related problems. This role is intended for individuals with Categorie Protette.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose hardware and network problems, perform physical repairs and component replacements.
Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Provide 24/7 data center support, working shifts including day/night, weekends and public holidays.
Follow and maintain highest safety standards and encourage a world-class safety culture.
Own safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture.
Physical Requirements
Work at heights and from ladders regularly.
Work in noisy areas with temperatures outside standard office conditions.
Work in cramped spaces or elevated locations as required.
Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required.
Valid driver's license and personal transportation required.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles, collaborating across AWS to deliver safety and security while providing massive capacity at low cost.
Essential Qualifications
IT hardware troubleshooting related experience.
Completed formal education, apprenticeship or training in an IT related field.
Good English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of Linux.
Experience with network protocols and in data center environments.
